Often the user needs to transfer multimedia recordings from the disc to the computer. In this case, it is desirable that the information recorded on the disc be recoded into a convenient, compact format.

Step 1
Download the CDex program to your computer. Unpack it and run the.exe file. Select a folder to install and click the "Install" button. After the installation window disappears, a shortcut to the program will appear on the desktop.
Step 2
Run it and insert a disc with audio recordings into the drive. The program will automatically add tracks to the list of files for conversion. If a window appears with a warning that the folder for finished files does not exist, agree to its creation by clicking the "Yes" button.
Step 3
In the top drop-down line, select your drive if it is not selected. In the lines "Artist", "Album", "Genre" and "Year", the corresponding entries may appear, if such information is on the disc. If not, you can print all the data yourself.
Step 4
To adjust the program settings, go to the "Parameters" item of the "Options" tab menu. In the "General" heading, you can normalize the volume of the audio recording, as well as activate the option to turn off the computer after conversion. In the "Files" tab, select the destination folder for the processed files and set the desired name format. For the last action, you can use the prompts.
Step 5
The Coder section contains basic information about the quality of a music file. Here you can select different stereo mode options, encoder version, bit rate and frequency. In the drop-down list "Quality" set the appropriate processing option. If you are satisfied with the selected settings, confirm them with OK.
Step 6
Now you can start coding. Highlight one or more added tracks and click on the icon with the name "Tracks to compressed audio files". It's on the right side of the program. It shows a disk with an arrow pointing to the computer.
Step 7
Wait for the end of the conversion. After completing the process, open the folder for the edited audio files. It added tracks in.mp3 format.
