If the Pdf format is used everywhere and you can use a browser to read it, the Djvu format requires the installation of additional software. The optimal solution to this problem may be the installation of a program for converting from one format to another.

Step 1
The Universal Document Conveter utility can be downloaded from the following link https://www.print-driver.ru/download. Install the copied installation file following the standard procedure by clicking the "Accept", "Next" and "Finish" buttons. To view Djvu files, you need to copy a special plugin from this site
Step 2
Right-click on the Djvu file and select "Open" or "Open With". In the window for selecting the default program that appears, left-click on the Internet Explorer icon. Now click on the Print button found on the toolbar of the newly copied plugin.
Step 3
In the "Print Document" window that opens, select the Universal Document Converter from the list of available printers, then click the "Properties" button. In the left block of buttons, click on "Load settings" and select the Text document to PDF script file and press the Enter key.
Step 4
To start converting an open document, press the Enter key or the OK button in the Print window. After a while, a copy in a different format will be created for the original file, which is located in the UDC Output Files directory (in the My Documents folder). Conversion time depends on the number of scanned pages and the total volume of the document.
Step 5
At the end of the process of creating a new file, the pdf document will be automatically launched through the default electronic document viewer, for example, Adobe Reader or Foxit PDF Reader.

If the new document does not start automatically, try opening the file manually. Open the My Documents directory, navigate to the UDC Output Files folder and double-click the file icon.
