Check if the files are currently being downloaded to your computer using various downloader programs, for example, via µTorrent. Also check if the operating system update is enabled. To do this, double-click on the icon for configuring computer security settings in the notification area and disable their automatic download, after which the speed spent on downloading these files will be freed up to perform other, more important for you at the moment, operations on the computer.
Step 3
Pay attention to downloading updates for other programs. Usually, when this operation is performed, a corresponding icon appears in the notification area related to a particular application. Also, configure your browser to make the most of your browser cache, in this case pages will load faster, displaying elements of the pages you visit frequently from your hard drive.
Step 4
Check if there is any foreign object obstructing your modem. The best way is to do this. So that it is in an open space and no foreign objects or wires interfere with the transfer of data. Also, problems often arise when using USB modems and wireless mice (or keyboards) at the same time. In this case, it is best to use ports that are remote from each other to connect them, if such a possibility exists on your computer.
