Windows 7 is one of the most widely used operating systems in the world. There are six editions of this OS available. The most functional version is "Maximum". But if “Home” is installed on your computer, and you have a desire to install “Maximum”, then this can be done by updating the previous version.
Necessary
Windows Anytime Upgrade program
Instructions
Step 1
The upgrade process on the home version will simply unlock the Ultimate components, and you will have full Windows 7 Ultimate.
Step 2
You will need the Windows Anytime Upgrade program to upgrade. You can buy it on the official website of Microsoft or in partner stores of the company, or in any store where licensed software is sold. You need to buy a version of the program, which is designed specifically for updating the "Home" version to the "Maximum". The program itself is just an activation key with which it will be possible to update your version of the operating system.
Step 3
To start Windows Anytime Upgrade, double-click on the executable file. A window will appear that says Ultimate. Next to it is the Generate option. Click on it. A window will pop up, in which the key will be written. You need to rewrite or copy this key (copying is impossible on some versions of the program).
Step 4
After that, click on the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel". Select Windows Update from Control Panel. The fully automatic update process will begin. The only thing you need to do is enter the key that you received in the Windows Anytime Upgrade program. Wait for the process to complete, then the computer will restart. After that, your version of the operating system will be updated to "Maximum". In this case, all parameters and settings will be saved.
