PC users who have at their disposal a full set of peripheral devices, including a printer, sooner or later face the fact that the ink in the original cartridges runs out. What to do next, because, as a rule, buying new cartridges for Canon printers is expensive? And if you fork out and buy these cartridges, then with active printing, they will be enough for a short time. In this regard, the question arises: "Is it possible to refill a Canon ink tank by yourself?"
Necessary
- - Canon printer;
- - refueling set;
- - newspaper;
- - Personal Computer;
- - paper for printer.
Instructions
Step 1
Spread the newspaper, folded in several layers, on top of it, lay a napkin from the refueling set to protect the table in case of ink leaks.
Step 2
Take out a bottle of ink of the desired color and a syringe with a needle from the kit. Also prepare an elastic band that will keep the ink bottle upright, and a special cardboard strip to cover the holes of a different color on the ink bottle (you need it if you are refueling a multi-color ink bottle).
Step 3
Lift the ink tank out of the printer and install it with the outlets at the top. Place an elastic band underneath to stabilize the ink tank. Cover the sections of the ink tanks with a cardboard strip that will not refuel just yet.
Step 4
Open a bottle of paint and draw two milliliters of paint from it with a syringe (if you will refuel an inkwell with black paint, then dial four milliliters of paint). Note that the ink must enter the syringe without air pockets, so move the syringe plunger smoothly.
Step 5
In one hand, holding a syringe filled with paint, and holding the inkwell with the other, refill it. To do this, position the needle of the syringe over the hole (however, it should not touch the hole itself) and slowly add ink. Make sure the previous drop is completely absorbed before applying the next drop of paint. After half of the ink has been injected, take a break for three minutes, leaving the inkwell flat on the table. Then continue refueling the inkwell, and wipe the remaining paint with a napkin.
Step 6
Wash the syringe and the used needle with water to remove any ink residues. Then type in the next color and follow the same procedure. So refuel until you fill the ink tanks with the desired paint.
Step 7
Gently take the filled ink tank (do not squeeze it) and install it into the printer. Then print test pages.
