Inkjet printers have a number of advantages over laser printers, but they also differ in a number of disadvantages. One of the main disadvantages of inkjet printers is that the ink in the cartridges runs out quite quickly, and the cartridges constantly need to be refilled. If you suddenly run out of ink but need to print something urgently, you can try refilling the inkjet printer cartridge yourself.
Instructions
Step 1
Write down or memorize your printer model, and then purchase the correct ink for your model from a computer supply store, after consulting your dealer. Make sure that the purchased ink matches your cartridge - only in this case the refilling will be successful.
Step 2
Spread a few folded newspapers on your desk, or have some cotton wool or toilet paper to wipe off any excess paint. Read your ink instructions for instructions on how to fill the ink cartridge.
Step 3
Lift the cartridge out of the printer and secure it in the filling station. Attach a needle to the ink container and slowly, slowly, inject ink into the cartridge through this needle. Make sure that there is not too much paint.
Step 4
After filling the required amount of ink, remove the cartridge from the filling station and place it vertically, placing it on toilet paper folded several times. Some ink will leak out.
Step 5
If ink flows out for too long, there may be too much ink in the cartridge - take a syringe and pump a small amount of ink out of the lower hole in the cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is no longer leaking ink and put it back in the printer.
Step 6
Print a test page and check for white streaks in the text. If white streaks appear, clean the print cartridge nozzles by selecting the appropriate option in the print quality settings.
