The solution to the problem of protecting a folder from copying is directly related to access rights to it. If you want to allow users to read the selected folder, then you need to use specialized applications. Otherwise, you can get by with the built-in capabilities of the OS Windows.

Instructions
Step 1
Create a new folder and place the files to be copied into it. Call the context menu of the created folder by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item. Go to the "General" tab of the dialog box that opens and apply the checkbox to the "Hidden" field. Remember that to remove this limitation, it is enough to change the settings for displaying hidden files and folders.
Step 2
Download and install the free TrueCrypt data encryption application on your computer. Run the installed application and use the "Create volume" button in the main program window.
Step 3
Apply the checkbox to the "Create an encrypted file container" field in the first window of the "New Volume Wizard" tool and confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button. Apply the checkbox to the "Normal" field in the new wizard window and again confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button.
Step 4
Apply the checkbox to the "Normal Mode" field in the next dialog box and use the "Next" button again. Specify the desired location for saving the created encrypted folder in the next window of the wizard and enter the value of the selected name for it in the "File" field.
Step 5
Authorize the creation of the required folder by clicking the Next button and skip the next two dialog boxes in a row by clicking Next. Specify the desired size of the created folder in the "Size of the external volume" window, confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button and enter the selected password value in two lines of the next wizard window.
Step 6
Save the selected password by clicking the "Next" button and follow the further recommendations of the wizard to complete the procedure for creating an encrypted folder inaccessible to other users.
Step 7
Download and install the specialized M File Anti-Copy application on your computer to protect the selected folders from copying. Launch the app and activate it. Enter the value of the desired password in the main program window and specify the folder to be protected from copying.
