If you need an office suite for work or study, you do not have to spend money, try the free options, because the best ones are not inferior to, or even surpass the advertised paid ones.
One of the free office suites that I can safely recommend for use both in the office and at home is called LibreOffice. It includes the following programs: Writer (text editor), Calc (table editor), Impress (program for creating presentations), Draw (vector editor), Math (formula editor), Base (database management system). As you can see, the programs are quite enough for comfortable work with various types of documents.
The advantages of this software, which I consider important for users, are as follows:
1. LibreOffice is completely free.
2. Ability to work with all types of documents that are offered in paid packages.
3. Support for a large number of languages.
4. Opened access to the source code.
5. All programs are quite convenient for novice users. Even if you've just seen how your older colleagues work with different types of office programs, you can easily figure out how to work with LibreOffice.
6. Although it is free software, the LibreOffice software products have technical support (provided by volunteers, including very experienced users).
7. The transition to LibreOffice can easily be carried out from other office suites, because this software supports most types of files that are classified as office.
8. If you wish, you can use the so-called "portable" version of the office suite, which does not require installation.
9. Well, and lastly (in order, but not in importance!) - LibreOffice can be downloaded for different OS, both by family and by bit depth.
