The main condition for executing the operation of launching the program from the command console is the exact knowledge of the name and storage location of the executable file of the selected application. It is also possible to set the required parameters and application keys, if their use is permissible.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the "Start" button located in the lower left corner of the computer monitor screen to open the main system menu and go to the "Run" item to open the Program Launch Console window. Alternatively, you can simultaneously press the Win + R function keys.

Enter the value of the full path to the executable file of the selected program in the "Open" field and specify the desired keys and parameters (if necessary).

Use the down arrow icon located on the right side of the file name input field to display previously launched programs and to select the desired application.

Click the "Browse" button if you cannot determine the full path to the executable file of the selected program to open a new dialog box displaying the computer's file system. This action will help in finding the required file.

Click the "Open" button when an executable file of the selected program is found in the file system tree of the computer to automatically copy the file name into the entry field of the command console prompt.

Click OK to confirm the command.

Remember that the system requirement "The program must be run as administrator" implies the use of a command line interpreter window. To carry out such an operation, you must perform the following steps.

Return to the main Start menu and go to All Programs.

Expand the Standard link and select the Command Line component.

Enter the value runas / user: user_name "program_name path_to_program_file" to run the selected program as administrator.

Call the context menu of the selected program in the "Windows Explorer" tool by right-clicking and select the "Run as" command to perform an alternative operation of launching the application as an administrator.

Apply the checkbox to the Specified User Account field and enter the computer administrator name and password in the appropriate fields.
