Pistons in Minecraft are needed to set other blocks in motion. There are sticky and regular pistons. With their help, various mechanisms are created: gates, elevators, traps, automatic farms. In addition to pistons, these mechanisms require red dust. Let's figure out in more detail how to make a piston in Minecraft.
Instructions
Step 1
Crafting pistons in Minecraft does not take so much time, but collecting resources for their creation is another matter. Probably the hardest part is getting the slime for the sticky pistons. The prey is made easier only if you find a place to spawn slugs.
Step 2
Collect Planks, Iron Ingot, Cobblestones, and Red Dust to create a Common Piston. Place everything in the same way as shown in the image.
Step 3
To create a sticky piston, you need to place a regular piston on the workbench, and add slime in the cell on top.
Step 4
You have learned how you can make a piston and a sticky piston in Minecraft. In order for the sticky piston to return to its original position, red dust and some other additional items are needed - switches, repeaters, levers. If you are going to make a trap with a sliding floor on the pistons, use the tension sensors.
