Necessary

  • - computer;
  • - Adobe Photoshop program.

Instructions

Step 1

Create a concept for your future brochure, think through the details to avoid failure in the middle of the process. Determine the dimensions of the document before making the booklet. To do this, make calculations on paper with a pencil, draw outlines and values. Use millimeters. Decide on the image resolution.

Step 2

Launch Adobe Photoshop, create a new file using the "File" -> "New" command. Select an extension value of 300 dpi. This is a versatile print value that can provide reasonably good printability on plates. Set the image size taking into account the bleed size (3 mm). Set the document size to 96x56. Click the Finish button.

Step 3

Go to the "Image" menu to continue creating the booklet, select the "Canvas size" item, enter 10 cm in each field and check the "Relatively" box. Click the OK button. Go to the "View" menu, select "New Guide" and set the horizontal and vertical guides to 0 pixels, repeat the action and make the guides again, but at 100%. Add additional fold guides to make a 3-fold booklet.

Step 4

Fill the document with white, make a selection of one third of the document (the first stripe) with the Rectangular Selection tool. Fill the selection with # c96003. Place the cursor between the layers, hold the alt="Image" button and left-click. Make the gradients # e6b338 and set the gradient opacity to 30%. Do the same with # 8d261c. Add your logo and company name to continue with your brochure. Place your motto or key phrase in the middle of the company.

Step 5

Put your contact information or photos on the last page. Make a selection between the guides. Fill the layer with dark gray and add some text. Place the penultimate page layer between the first and last ones. Place your company information here, add a title, and enter body text. Make an outline for the text. Save your document in TIFF format. This completes the creation of the booklet.
