Step 1
The easiest option is to download and install a specially developed program to solve the problem of playing this type of files. In this case, you just need to run the downloaded file, and after installing the program, open the video file with it.
Step 2
To do this, right-click on the file and select the "Open With" command in the context menu. Specify MKVPlayer as the executable program and click OK. The movie will be opened in the specified application and the MKV file reading problem will be resolved. The disadvantage of this method lies only in the fact that you will have to watch the movie through an unusual player.
