A browser (program for viewing web pages) is usually provided by default in every operating system, on a computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone. But experienced users prefer to use the default browser as a secondary one, and do another as the main one.
On a laptop, most often you can find Windows, which already has Internet Explorer. Don't trust the manufacturer's advertising promises that IE is fast and secure. Most system administrators consider it, first of all, very insecure, so you should pay attention to the browsers Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome.
It is difficult to unambiguously praise or scold any of the listed browsers. For example, Opera is appreciated by users of mobile devices, and Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome by owners of laptops and computers. Each of the listed browsers has its own advantages and disadvantages, so you should try to use each one and choose the most comfortable one for yourself. Perhaps only one thing can be advised - if the speed of the browser and its security are important to you, start studying this group of programs with Opera and Google Chrome, but if you need a developer tool that you can customize, Mozilla Firefox is the best choice. But ordinary users should also use browser extensions. First of all, you should pay attention to plugins that block ads, which are filled with most of the web pages. With the use of such an add-on, it is much easier and more comfortable to get acquainted with the information found. This is especially important for the owners of laptops and netbooks, if you need to go online in a public place, because if many animated banners are not loaded when opening a website page, the process of opening it is much faster.
Useful advice: update your browser as updates are released for it, otherwise the likelihood of catching a virus increases significantly.
Of course, besides the above browsers, there are others, but, in my opinion, it is worth starting with Opera, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. I'll tell you about the rest a little later.
