Overclocking components (overclocking) allows you to get much more performance from your computer than it was originally. This procedure is not recommended for inexperienced users in order not to damage the computer parts.

Instructions
Step 1
Go to Bios, to do this, restart the computer, and until the boot window of the Windows operating system appears, press the Delete key, using the cursor buttons, select the Load Optimized Defaults command to prepare the processor overclocking.
Step 2
Next, go to the Power Bios Setup menu, select the Memory Frequency menu item, set the value to DDR400 (200Mhz) to overclock the processor. Click the Esc key to exit this submenu. Then go to AMD K8 Cool & Quiet, set it to Disable, if available. Then save your changes and restart your computer. To do this, press Escape, after the message about saving the settings appears, enter Y, press the Enter key.
Step 3
Reboot the system, go to Bios again, go to the Advanced Chipset Features tab, select the DRAM Configuration option, this tab is designed to edit the memory timing parameters. In each line, replace the Auto value with the following numbers: for the HT Frequency option - 3x, for the Power Bios Setup item - DDR200 (100Mhz). This item contains the memory frequency divider. Save changes again, exit Bios to continue overclocking Amd processor, go to Bios after restarting your computer.
Step 4
Go to the Power Bios Setup menu item, then select the CPU Frequency option, increase the HTT parameter value to 250, or more. Then save the changes, load the operating system. Run the S&M program to check the stability of the processor.
Step 5
Go to the "Settings" item, set the following test parameters: "Long" or "Normal" time, then Load - 100%, uncheck all the boxes in the "Processor" tab, leave only the CPU test. Run the test. If no problem arises, gradually increase the frequency by following the steps at the beginning of this step. Thus, you can overclock the Amd processor to the optimal value.
