Why is it necessary to uninstall programs correctly? First, if you delete a shortcut to a program or game with the right mouse button, it will still remain on the computer. Secondly, when you uninstall a program using its uninstaller, it is possible that some unnecessary files will remain on the computer. For example, it can be some remnants of old and unnecessary files, temporary files that often take up a lot of space on the computer and can also cause the computer to slow down. With the correct removal of an unnecessary program using special Windows tools, it is completely removed.

To uninstall a program or game from your computer, you need to click the "Start" button, and in the "Start" menu, click the "Control Panel" button (or Start -> Settings -> Control Panel).

In the opened window of the "Control Panel" menu, find the icon "Add or Remove Programs" For Windows 7: Control Panel -> Configure computer settings -> Programs and Features -> Add or Remove Programs.

Open the Add / Remove Programs menu window. A list of programs and games installed on your computer will open.

Select the desired program or game from the list by clicking on it. The game or program will be highlighted in blue.

The "Delete" button will appear under the name of the program (game), click on it. Or right-click on this program (game) and then click on "Uninstall" (Uninstall / Change).

The "Uninstall" window will open, which "asks" if you really want to uninstall the program or the game with all its components from the computer. To confirm your intention, click "Yes" / Yes and, if necessary, "Next" / Next.

Another uninstall window will appear. You need to wait a little while the uninstallation of the program or game is finished.

When a program or game disappears from the list in the Add or Remove Programs window, it means that it has been successfully removed. Most programs can be uninstalled this way.
