Sometimes there are situations when the antivirus program cannot find the infected file on its own. Especially for such situations, utilities have been developed to help you quickly scan your computer.

Instructions
Step 1
Much depends on how a particular virus manifests itself. If your computer has become very slow, then press the Ctrl, alt="Image" and Delete keys at the same time and select the "Task Manager" item in the menu that opens. Go to the "Processes" tab and carefully examine all running programs and applications. Usually virus utilities take up most of the RAM or CPU.
Step 2
Right-click on the virus process and select "Open file storage location". Now highlight this process in the task manager and press the Delete key. Confirm to stop the specified application. Delete the virus files that were specified by the system.
Step 3
If we are talking about a virus banner, then first restart your computer. After the download starts, press and hold the F8 key. After a while, a new menu will open. Select "Windows Safe Mode" and wait for the specified mode to load.
Step 4
Open the My Computer menu. To do this, you can simultaneously press the "Start" and E keys. Go to the Windows folder located on the system partition of the hard drive. Open the System32 directory. Find the dll files that contain the combination of letters lib in the name. Delete all found files.
Step 5
Perform an additional scan of the computer using the operating system. Press the "Start" and R keys. Type the command mrt.exe in the field that opens and press the Enter key. Wait for the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool menu to open.
Step 6
Select "Full" scan mode and click "Next". The process running can take several hours, depending on the power of your computer and the size of the disk. Enter the mrt.exe / Q command to run the utility in the background. Delete the found files if the program does not perform this action on its own.
