Instructions
Step 1
Determine the type of line to be deleted: drawn, inserted, or formatted.
Step 2
Click on the drawn line and press the Del button to execute the delete operation.
Step 3
Use the possibilities of the context menu for an alternative method of deleting a drawn line, invoked by right-clicking on the field of the selected object. Specify the "Cut" command and click the OK button to confirm the execution of the command.
Failure to highlight the selected line indicates that the line is not drawn.
Step 4
Select the lines before and after the line inserted in Word and press the Del softkey to perform the delete operation.
Step 5
Add some arbitrary letters before and after the line and try deleting again.
Step 6
Use the possibilities of the context menu for an alternative method of deleting the inserted line, invoked by right-clicking on the field of the selected object. Specify the "Cut" command and click the OK button to confirm the execution of the command.
Failure to select the selected line indicates that the line is not inserted.

Expand the "Borders and Fill" menu item in the upper toolbar of the Microsoft Word application window to initiate the deletion of the line created by the format and select the "Type" - "none" (no border) option on the "Border" and "Page" tabs.

Select the text along with the line if the line cannot be deleted and select the "to text" item in the "Apply" parameter of the same window.

Place the mouse cursor under the lane to be deleted and press the Shift softkey. While continuing to hold down the Shift key, press the up arrow key. Wait for the moment of highlighting the strip to be deleted and press the Del key.
