Increasing the clarity sharpens the details of the image, the picture becomes more "professional". But keep in mind that a low-quality photo will not allow you to get a perfectly clear image.

Instructions
Step 1
Use the Sharpen tool in the sidebar to sharpen some small areas. It looks like a triangle figurine. If you do not see such an icon, then find a drop or a hand with an outstretched finger - these are tools of the same group. Click on any of them with the right mouse button and you will see a triangle in the drop-down menu. Activate it by clicking on the left mouse button.
Step 2
In the top panel, open the Brush option and select the desired diameter, hardness and shape of the brush. Set the desired Blending Mode (Mode) and the degree of influence of the Strength effect. Paint over target areas.
Step 3
Open the Filter menu. Choose any of the direct action filters: Sharpen, Sharpen Edges, or Sharpen more. After selecting any of them, you will immediately see the result that this command can automatically give. Try to apply all filters in turn. You can also re-select any of the filters, which will also be reflected in the picture.
Step 4
For more efficient work, use the Smart Sharpen or Unsharp Mask fine tuning tools. Choose one of them. The first one equally affects the entire image, the second - more on areas with a significant difference in the colors of neighboring pixels (outlines). Check the box Preview, then you will immediately see the result.
Step 5
Move the image in the filter window to better see important objects. Change the Amount parameter, which determines the enhancement of the contrast between pixels. Typically 100 to 200% is optimal.
Step 6
Move the Radius slider to define the width of the tone comparison area. For individuals, this indicator is usually set from 1 to 3.
Step 7
In Smart Sharpen, in the Remove field, specify what kind of blur you want to remove, and check the More Accurate box. In the Unsharp Mask, set the Threshold parameter from 2 to 8.
