Instructions

Step 1

Use a script editor, or script editor, to debug the generated scripts. Debugging is understood to mean fixing detected errors and adding breakpoints that allow the debugging application to determine when the script needs to stop.

Step 2

Call the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button to initiate the procedure for opening and using the script editor. Expand the All Programs link and expand Microsoft Office. Run the application you want and locate the form template with the script you want in Office InfoPath.

Step 3

Open the "Service" menu of the upper service panel of the application window and select the "Programming" item. Use the Microsoft Script Editor command or press the Alt function key while holding down the Shift and F11 keys for an alternative method to open the desired script editor tool.

Step 4

Move the mouse pointer over the place to add a debug expression and enter a value: - debugger (for MS JScript language) - Stop (for MS VBScipt language) Then use the selected debug expression.

Step 5

Use the "Save" button of the upper service panel of the script editor or press the Ctrl function key simultaneously with the S key to apply the changes made. Return to InfoPath and expand the Standard menu in the top bar of the application window.

Step 6

Specify the View command or use the Ctrl, Shift, and B softkey combination to display the document. Select the New Instance of Microsoft Script Editor option in the dialog box that opens and confirm the selected action by clicking the "Yes" button.

Step 7

Specify the Script item in the next dialog box and authorize the application of the changes made by clicking OK to use the script editor in debug mode, or select the Stop Debugging option from the Debug menu to stop debugging.
