WarCraft is a fairly popular real-time strategy game that has firmly taken its place in the genre of tactical games. It is not surprising that after its release, there were many different modifications created by fans, because every person, and even more so a gamer, always wants to create something unique, something of his own. And the clearest example of such creativity of players is the creation of maps for WarCraft.
Instructions
Step 1
First, go into the game and open the WarcraftWorldEditor folder. Start changing the land. To do this, go to the toolbar, select the terrain editing tools and start drawing the structure in the order in which you planned it. After that, in the toolbar, go to the section for editing troops. While in this section, indicate the type of action and place the units (soldiers) on the field in any order you wish. Assign its owner to the army that you created and located on a certain territory, for which in the control panel, set the appropriate parameters for each combat unit (this is done in its properties).
Step 2
Also give each unit a certain position, coordinate. To do this, select it and use the mouse to rotate it to the required angle. Do this with all objects that need it. After changing units, don't forget to work on the terrain. To create a slope, open the toolbox and select the desired terrain control tools. After that, determine the slope of the hill or depression and set its dimensions according to your choice. This process is reversible, so feel free to experiment.
Step 3
There is also an opportunity to refine your map, make it more sophisticated by using additional non-playable objects. To create interesting decorations, open the toolbox again and select the desired decoration editing tools. For example, trees or various ruins. The choice of decoration is limited only by fantasy. Create, for example, a small lawn with a variety of flowers. Or place a dilapidated building, and behind it place your army, creating an ambush. The map editor allows you to make several very tricky, confusing buildings at once, which will mislead the enemy.
