The Windows operating system is known for its unusual and often incomprehensible bugs. For example, what the user might be told by the error “This computer has disabled access to the Windows Script Host. Contact your system administrator”? However, there is a solution for this problem as well.

Instructions
Step 1
Start Registry Editor. To do this, enter the regedit command in the Run box located in the main Start menu. Press enter for the command to launch the Registry Editor. As a rule, commands in the registry of a personal computer must be entered accurately, without errors.
Step 2
The Registry Editor window is divided into two areas: the left side displays the structure of the main system sections, and the right side displays their contents. You need to find the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE section and expand it. Then - the SOFTWARE folder, Microsoft, Windows and Script Host inside it, then select the Settings folder to display its contents on the right side of the editor window.
Step 3
Find the Enabled parameter. If there is no such parameter, create a new string parameter named Enabled. Set the value to 0 (the program will automatically convert zero to a combination of characters like 0x00000001 - this is normal) and press enter. Close Registry Editor. Try again the steps that led to the script server error to see if it worked. The error should not occur again.
