Refueling of cartridges implies the obligatory disassembly of this device to access the container. Do not perform this operation for the first time on cartridges that you will use later.

Instructions
Step 1
To refuel a laser printer on your own, prepare your workplace in such a way that it is convenient for you to disassemble the cartridge into small parts without losing them. Also get a refill kit that is right for your model, usually sold in copier stores. These kits include a replacement chip or programmer and powder ink.
Step 2
Remove the cartridge from the printer, and then carefully inspect its side walls - they should contain mounting bolts that you need to remove to access the container. Then carefully remove the springs so as not to lose them. Be especially careful with the inner parts of the cartridge, it is best to fold them separately to the side on a flat surface, do not allow them to be scratched or otherwise damaged.
Step 3
Remove the container. Open it and be sure to clean it from the remaining toner. It is best to rinse it with water and dry it with a hair dryer. Also, use a lint-free cloth to clean the remaining parts of the cartridge from ink residues. Fill the toner cartridge, but best of all, not completely, especially if it is a starter cartridge. Reassemble the cartridge in reverse order, if necessary, replace the chip with a new one.
Step 4
If you need to reprogram an old chip, use a special programmer connected to your computer. Download the software for flashing your cartridge model, perform the necessary operations according to the attached instructions and install the chip back.
Step 5
Secure all parts of the cartridge. Shake it lightly from side to side to distribute the toner evenly across the width of the container. Install it in the printer and do a test print.
