Microsoft more than 10 years ago took a challenge to create a new, small button bar that always remains visible on the computer screen. The result of the work was the "Toolbar" that appeared in Windows, which is also called otherwise - "Quick Launch". With its help, you can quickly access any application preinstalled on the panel.
Instructions
Step 1
In the Windows operating system, the "Quick Launch" and several additional panels are initially in a hidden (inactive) state. It is quite simple to restore (activate) any panel - you just need to vote for it, i.e. put a tick next to its name in the context menu item "Toolbars".
Let's take a closer look at the order of these steps using the example of common Windows XP and Windows 2007 operating systems.
Step 2
Place the cursor on any free space of the "Taskbar", which is located at the bottom of the monitor screen. Then click on it once with the right mouse button. In the context menu that opens, place the cursor on the "Toolbars" item and select the "Quick Launch" line in the drop-down menu.
Ready. The Quick Launch icon appears on the left side of the Taskbar, next to the Start button.
Step 3
You can also activate any hidden panel from the Start menu. To do this, by clicking on it, go to the "Control Panel" section, select the "Taskbar and Start Menu" item, then in the window that opens, boldly click on the "Taskbar" tab. Then put a tick in the box in front of the line with the name of any panel you need and it will turn into an active one.
Step 4
If in the future you need to hide the "Quick Launch", you can easily do this by repeating the above-described algorithm of actions and removing the "tick" next to the "Quick Launch" line.
You can now restore (activate) the "Quick Launch" again at any convenient time.
