Next, we will consider the process of integrating the popular Windows Media Player into the operating system, or rather, not itself, but its newer version. The operating system Windows XP must be installed on your computer, preferably a "clean build", without any additions.

Also, you need to download and install the latest version of the NET Framework package. If you have automatic updates enabled, you do not need to install this package. You can download the package for free.

In addition, you will need a Windows Media Player installer, which can also be found on the Internet. Finally, download the WMP11 Repacking Tool.

Install WMP11 Repacking Tool. After launching it, go to the directory in the Source folder. Then copy the Windows Media Player installation file to this folder. Then click on the Start.cmd executable file, which is in the folder, by double-clicking the left mouse button. Wait for the operation to complete. This will create Wmp11r.exe in the folder instead of the original file.

Then click "Start" and select "All Programs", then - "Accessories". There is a "Command Line" in standard programs. Start it up. At the command line, enter Wmp11r.exe / q and then press the Enter key. Wait until the process of integrating the player into the operating system is complete. After its completion, you will see a corresponding notification, now on your operating system.

If necessary, you can integrate the Windows Media Player installation file into the distribution kit of the operating system disc. To do this, you can use the free nLite program, which can be found on the Internet. In this case, with the next OS installations, there will no longer be a need to update the player manually, since its already updated version will be installed.
