The operation of canceling the password for access to the local network and access to shared folders can be performed using standard tools of the Microsoft Windows operating system and does not require the involvement of additional third-party software.
Instructions
Step 1
Press the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the system and go to the "Settings" item to initiate the cancellation of the password for access to the local network.
Step 2
Go to Control Panel and select Administrative Tools.
Step 3
Expand the "Local Security Policy" link and select the "User Rights Assignment" item.
Step 4
Specify the desired users with the right to access the local network in the "Access this computer from the network" section and restart the computer to apply the selected changes.
Step 5
Return to the main "Start" menu and go to the "Control Panel" item to perform the operation of granting access to files and removing the password on the local network.

Expand the link "Network and Internet" and point to "Network and Sharing Center".

Select Change Advanced Sharing Settings on the left side of the application window and apply the check box next to Enable Sharing so that network users can read and write files in shared folders under Shared Folder Access.

Check the box next to "Disable password-protected sharing" in the "Password-protected sharing" section at the bottom of the program window and click the "Save changes" button to confirm the command execution.

Call the context menu of the folder to which you want to share, right-click and select "Properties".

Go to the Sharing tab in the dialog box that opens and expand the Advanced Settings link.

Enter the desired name for the shared folder in the Share Name field in the Options section of the new dialog box and click OK to apply the selected changes.
