Computer control functions are performed by its Administrator. Depending on the operating system you are using, this user performs the same functions, but it will not work to log in with his account in the same way.
Necessary
Administrator password
Instructions
Step 1
In order to return the computer management functions, go to the operating system under the name of the Administrator account. To do this, select the account that has the appropriate rights in the list at the entrance and click on it. Enter your password if required. If you forget it, this is bad, but sometimes fixable. In most cases, the main thing is not to lose the main administrator password, and even better not to set it without special need.
Step 2
Log in under an account with Administrator rights using Safe Mode. To do this, restart your computer, then press the F8 key or any other depending on your motherboard model. In the choice of the download option, select "Safe Mode" or its variations based on the purposes of using the administrator account.
Step 3
If you have forgotten the password for an account with Computer Administrator rights, create a new one in safe mode. After that, make the folder with documents from the former profile available for copying and perform this action, setting the newly created user as the destination directory.
Step 4
When you are sure that you have copied all the necessary data to continue working on the computer and there are no more original copies of important files in the user folder, go to the control panel of your computer, go to setting up accounts.
Step 5
Select the blocked user and delete it along with folders and files from your computer. Thus, an inactive account will not take up extra disk space. In the future, create an alternative computer user in case you suddenly forget the Administrator password.
