When communicating between nodes on a network, TCP addresses packets to specific applications that process the information received. Each packet specifies a source port and a destination port. Port is a conditional number from 1 to 65535 that determines which application the packet is addressed to.

Step 1
Ports that are ready to receive packets are called open ports. You can find them on your computer using special scanners. Many online services offer this service. Go to PortScan. Ru (https://portscan.ru/fullscan.php). In the "Online Scanner" tab, click the "Services and Protocols" button to find open ports and find out what applications they are configured to work with
Step 2
Spyware usually uses several specific ports for unauthorized access to information. Click on the Trojans and Viruses button to see if these ports are protected on your computer. There you can also see a list of malware that connects to each port.
Step 3
To check with another popular online scanner, go to https://www.windowsfaq.ru/content/view/451/82/ Read the terms of use of the service, select the checkbox "I have read and agree …" and click the "Accept terms" use … ". If you have a firewall configured to detect and block attacks, disable this feature or add the scanner to the list of exclusions.
Step 4
For example, if you have Windows Firewall enabled, go to the Exceptions tab and click the Change Scope button. Move the switch to the "Special list" position and enter the IP of the service 77.221.143.203. Click OK to confirm

In the Scan Settings window, enter the port range you want to scan. It is best to leave the default timeout value. Click "Start Scan" to start the scan. Open ports will be marked in red in the list of checked ports.
Step 6
You can check the status of the computer ports using Windows tools. Use the Win + R key combination to invoke the "Open" line and enter the cmd command into it. In the command window, type netstat –a –n –o. The program will display a list of all active connections. In the column "Local address", the port number is indicated with a colon from the IP of your computer. It corresponds to the process number from the PID column

To find out its name by the number of a process, call the "Process Manager" by pressing the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys and go to the "Processes" tab. Find the correspondence between the process ID and its name in the Image Name column.
