A password manager is a software that helps a user to work with passwords. Many of them remember the entered data and then fill in the login and password fields automatically. If necessary, the password manager can be disabled.
Instructions
Step 1
Very often password managers are browser extensions. So, in order to disable the function of remembering passwords in the Mozilla Firefox application, you need to follow several steps. Launch your browser in the usual way. In the top menu bar, find the "Tools" item and select "Options" from the context menu.

A new dialog box will open. Make the "Protection" tab active in it. In the "Passwords" group, uncheck the "Remember passwords for sites" field. Save the new parameters by clicking the OK button and close the settings window.
Step 3
To disable the password manager in Internet Explorer, start the application and choose Internet Options from the Tools menu. A new window will open, make sure you are on the Content tab and look for the AutoComplete group.
Step 4
Opposite the sentence "Autocomplete remembers the previously entered data and substitutes suitable lines" click on the "Options" button. An additional dialog box will open; uncheck it in the Use AutoComplete For group from the Usernames and Passwords in Forms field. Click OK and apply the new settings in the Internet Options window.
Step 5
In the Opera browser, enter the "Tools" menu and select "General settings" from the context menu. In the dialog box that opens, go to the "Forms" tab. Uncheck the box "Enable password management" and confirm the selection of new parameters with the OK button at the bottom of the window.
Step 6
In Google Chrome, click the wrench button at the top of the application window and select Options from the context menu. In the left part of the window that opens, select the "Personal materials" section. Place a marker in the "Do not save passwords" field on the right side of the window and apply the settings.
