Configuring the parameters of automatic connection to the Internet when the operating system is loaded on computers running Windows can be performed by the user without using additional programs, using only the standard system tools.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, configure your Internet connection settings. To do this, open the main system menu by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "Control Panel" section. Expand the Network Connections node and find the required PPPoE connection. Call the context menu of the found line by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Properties" item. Uncheck the box "Prompt for name, password every time you connect" in the "Options" group and save the change by clicking OK.
Step 2
Call the context menu of the PPPoE connection in use again by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Create shortcut" command. After that, open the Startup folder in the standard Windows Explorer application and place the created shortcut into it.
Step 3
Use an alternative method to set up an automatic internet connection when the operating system boots. To do this, press the Win and R function keys at the same time and type% SystemRoot% / system32 / taskschd.msc / s in the "Open" line. Confirm the launch of the task manager utility by clicking the OK button, and open the Action menu of the upper service panel of the application window.
Step 4
Specify the Add Job command and type any name in the appropriate line of the dialog box that opens. Enter an arbitrary description of the task being created in the next dialog box and confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button. Apply the checkbox in the line "At login" in the new dialog box and save the change by clicking the "Next" button.
Step 5
Select the checkbox in the "Run the program" line in the next dialog box and confirm the execution of the selected action by clicking the "Next" button. Type drive_name: / Windows / system32 / rasdial.exe in the "Run program" line and enter the values for the name of the connection you are using, your account and password in the argument string of the task being created. Save your changes by clicking Next and make sure that the created task is displayed in the list.
