Recently, among IT specialists, the issue of remote control of a home computer has become relevant. Of course, this technology is completely new for many, but, having mastered it, each user will be able not only to manage and work with the data available on the remote computer, but also to turn it on, off and restart it.

Radmin Server program
Instructions
Step 1
At the moment, there are a large number of various programs for remote control of a computer, one of which is Radmin. It attracts users with its simplicity, clear interface, ease of management and high speed of work.
Step 2
When starting to remotely control a PC via Radmin, you need to set up a network between two computers (local and remote). Then load the operating system on each of them (preferably if it is Windows) and run the corresponding subroutines: Radmin Viewer - on the local computer; Radmin Server - on the remote computer.
Step 3
Once everything you need is configured and installed, you can connect to the remote computer. To do this, open the main menu in the Radmin Viewer subroutine and select the "Connection" -> "Connect to …" items. In the window that appears, go to the "General settings" tab, where select the parameters required for remote connection, namely: - in the "Connection mode" line from the drop-down list, select the appropriate item (action to be performed on the remote computer); in this case it will be "Shutdown"; - in the "IP address or DNS name" field, specify the IP address of the remote computer or its network name, respectively; - in the "Port" field, enter the port number through which the local computer is connected to the remote … Note that this field is only filled if Radmin Server is running on a non-standard port.
Step 4
Then click the "OK" button, after which Radmin Viewer starts connecting to the remote computer. As a result of a successful connection, the "Radmin Security System" window should appear, in which enter the username and password (by the way, you can find them in the Radmin Server settings).
Step 5
If you do not want to re-enter your login every time you connect to a remote computer, just check the box next to the "Save default username" line. Then click "OK".
Step 6
Next, the "Shutdown" window should appear on the screen. In it, you will need to select the action that you want to perform on the remote computer: reboot, shutdown or power off. Select "Turn off remote computer" and click "OK".
