Step 1
Start transforming your desktop with a general cleaning. Get rid of junk on your desktop, leave only those files and shortcuts that you really use. Most programs can be accessed through the Start menu. If you are having difficulty removing shortcuts, use the Desktop Cleanup Wizard. Right-click on a free area of the desktop, select "Arrange icons" and in the menu that opens, you will see the function you are interested in. The program will create a list of shortcuts for cleaning. The shortcuts you selected will move from the desktop to the Unused Desktop Shortcuts folder.
Step 2
Next, download a program that allows you to organize your documents and files on your desktop (for example, sTabLauncher, Fences, or Desk Drive). They are convenient and easy to use. Using it, distribute the space into several blocks (resize the created block in the same way as you change the position of the window of any program in Windows), into which you place the necessary files or shortcuts. Also, you can set a name for each group of documents. Create, for example, a block "Graphics", "Entertainment", "Games", etc. This will make it much easier to find the program or file you need.
Step 3
To make your desktop truly unique, use the program to change the design of the workspace. Programs like these are rich in customization, and you can do exactly what you like best. Install the necessary widgets, choose a different theme, change the standard icons, change the background image.
