Step 1
Disable unnecessary services first. This will free up some RAM and reduce the load on the central processor. Open the Control Panel menu and go to the System and Security submenu. Now click on the "Services" shortcut located in the "Administration" menu.

Disable any services you are not using. Be sure to first study their description. Please be aware that disabling an important service can result in a fatal operating system error.

Add virtual memory if the hard disk is large enough to do so. Open the "Start" menu and click the edit button on the "Computer" item. Now find the "Performance" item in the "Advanced" tab and click the "Options" button located in it. Select the "Advanced" tab and click the "Change" button. Uncheck the "Automatically select paging file size" checkbox.
Step 4
Now select the partition of the disk where the operating system is installed and activate the "Specify size" function. Enter the numbers 3000 and 5000 in the "Original size" and "Maximum size" fields, respectively. Click the "Set" button and close the window. Go to hard drive setup.
Step 5
Press the "Start" and E keys. Right-click on the disk partition where Windows is located. Open its properties. Find the option "Allow indexing of file contents" and uncheck the box next to it. Click the Apply button and wait until you finish modifying the file properties.
Step 6
Download Advanced System Care from www.iobit.com. Run it and open the System Diagnostics menu. Activate the items "Optimization" and "Defragmentation". Click the Scan button and after completing this process click the Repair button.
Step 7
Repeat the steps in the previous step, opening the Windows Cleanup menu and highlighting all four items. Close the program and restart your computer.
