WordArt allows you to create a text graphic element based on user-entered options. WordArt technology in Microsoft Office allows you to create objects that will have a special design and will be a good addition to the beautiful design of the file content.
Adding an item
Adding the WordArt element to Microsoft Word is done through the "Insert" tab, which is available in the top bar of the program menu. Going to the section, click the WordArt button located on the right side of the window. A similar element can be added in Excel and PowerPoint.
After pressing the key, select one of the proposed options for the style of the future text. Then start typing letters on the page, and then move on to creating styles. In Microsoft Office 2013, the WordArt button is indicated by an italic letter on the toolbar to the right of the Text Box key.
Working with elements
After entering the required text, the "Format" tab will appear on the program toolbar, with which you can edit the text style and add the desired effects. You can insert additional shapes and arrows into the WordArt, which will be suggested in the upper left part of the window. You can also set a frame for your text using the available colors and effects through the Shape Styles section.
It is possible to fill the background of the text, adjust the thickness of the outline and add the effects "Shadow", "Reflection", etc. By clicking on the small arrow button at the bottom right of the block, you can open a window for additional settings and other display options. So, you can change the shape and frame of the entire object by clicking on the "Shape" item and choosing the option that suits you best.
In the WordArt Styles section, you can add the typography you want for the letters themselves. After adjusting the highlighting of the text and the desired options for its style, you can edit the result using the standard functions available for changing ordinary text that is not related to WordArt. By clicking on the arrow icon, you can call the side panel for setting additional effects and parameters for creating a volumetric display of the entered letters.
On the right side of the toolbar, you can fine-tune the length and width of the entered font, adjust the parameters of the element flow and its position on the page. By hovering over an object, you can also adjust its size and angle. Once you move WordArt to the desired position, you can start adding a new object or further editing the file.
Deleting
To delete a WordArt, left-click on its frame, and then press the Del (Delete) keyboard button. After completing the procedure, the unnecessary block will be deleted and you can add text with new parameters again at any time.
