MediaGet is a torrent client that allows you to download large files from the Internet in minutes or hours, depending on the data transfer rate.
Instructions
Step 1
First, download the installation file to your computer. In order for your antivirus to miss it (it is usually detected as a virus), you need to temporarily disable the firewall. The standard firewall of the Windows operating system may also not allow the file to be downloaded during the download, but it will make a request. Manually skip the file to download. If you do not have system administrator rights, then you need to enable it (in the Windows settings, in the control panel, in the item "user accounts").
Step 2
Double-click the downloaded MediaGet file. Carefully read the terms of use, agree to them for further installation, click the "start" button. If the antivirus is blocking the installation, then disable it completely. Remember to turn it back on when the installation is finished. There is a risk that MediaGet will later transfer virus-infected files to your computer. For this, the antivirus must be turned on after installing the torrent client.
Step 3
Wait while the program is fully installed on your computer. The program is completely free, you do not need to pay for installation or use. If you are asked for money, then most likely you have ended up on a scam site. Try to find the program on the official website.
Step 4
When the program is installed, you need to configure it for yourself. There are two modes: “default setting” and “custom setting”. Choose for yourself the option that is more suitable. So, for example, the default setting will install not only the program itself, but also third-party affiliate programs. In the custom configuration, you can make this object the default torrent client, add it to the exceptions for the Windows Firewall so that it does not block it. Sometimes it is suggested to install different "bars" for browsers. If you do not need them (for the most part they are useless and take up too much screen space), then simply uncheck the box next to the installation item.
Step 5
After choosing the type of setting, you need to enable the program and try to install some file from torrent sites. There are sites that require registration, there are those that allow you to download movies, music, games without registration. If the program does not work correctly or does not work at all, it is worth uninstalling it (through the control panel, item "uninstall programs"), and then reinstall it by following all the steps again.
