The download manager of content from the Internet helps to save the user's time. Files are saved to a computer faster due to the fact that information is transmitted over several streams at once. If the bootloader is not needed, it can be disabled or removed.
Instructions
Step 1
To disable the download manager, check its settings and select "Not active" ("Disabled") from the menu. If this option is not provided, remove the bootloader. The first option is suitable if the application is installed directly on one of the local drives of the computer.
Step 2
Go to the directory where the application for accelerated content download was installed, and select the uninstall.exe file by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Follow the instructions in the Uninstall Wizard.
Step 3
If the uninstall file is missing, or for some reason you cannot run it, use the Add or Remove Programs component. Open the "Control Panel" through the "Start" menu and click on the corresponding icon. Wait until a list of all applications installed on your computer is generated.
Step 4
Select the program you want to remove from the list and select it with the left mouse button. Available actions will become active on the right side. Click on the "Delete" button and wait for the operation to complete. Close the Add or Remove Programs window by clicking the [x] icon in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 5
If the downloader is one of the browser add-ons, then you must disable (or remove) it in another way. For example, Mozilla Firefox: start the browser in the way you are used to and select the "Tools" item in the top menu bar. In the drop-down menu, click on the "Add-ons" item.
Step 6
On the right side of the page that opens, click on the "Extensions" icon and wait for the list to be generated. Select the download manager from the list and click on the "Disable" (or "Remove") button located to the right of the add-on name. Wait for the browser to perform the operation, if necessary, restart the browser.
