While downloading apps for your smartphone, you've probably noticed that some of them require root rights. By being rooted on your smartphone, you will have access to a variety of features that are not available during normal operation. This manual is only suitable for Samsung Galaxy Ace s5830i smartphone.
First, download the archive with root rights to your smartphone. Be sure to place it in the root folder of your flash card. Then turn off the smartphone and hold down the home button, the volume button (bottom) and the power button. Press and hold for a few seconds until the recovery menu appears.
Please be aware that the touch screen does not work in the recovery menu! All switching must be done using the sound control buttons (the lower button is down the list, the upper one is up) and the "home" button (function selection button). In the recovery menu, you need to select the "apply update from sdcard" item, which means download from the flash card, and then select update.zip from all the files that appear. That's it, now you need to be patient and wait for the phone to complete the rooting process.
When the phone has finished the rooting process, select "reboot system now" from the recovery menu - reboot the system. Everything! Now, when your smartphone restarts, the "Superuser" icon will appear on the desktop, which means that the smartphone has been successfully rooted.
