On the Internet, you can now find anything you want, including games for every taste. But not everyone knows what to do with these incomprehensible files downloaded from the torrent.
Instructions
Step 1
Games on the Internet are most often in the form of virtual disk images and in order to use them, you need a virtual DVD. Many programs are used to create a virtual drive, but the most popular among them are Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. The capabilities of both programs are about the same, but the first one is distributed free of charge, so I advise you to opt for it.
Step 2
Download the installation file of the program from here: https://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon, then launch it and follow the instructions. Choose the free option. After installation, the computer must be rebooted for the new drive to appear in the system
Step 3
Now you have a new lightning bolt icon next to the clock in your tray. When you right-click on it, the Daemon Tools menu will appear, in which you can access the program settings, as well as create your own image directory, write images to disk and much more. If you click on the icon with the left button, then only two lines will appear. Click on the bottom, where the drive letter is indicated and it says "No data". In the menu that opens, find the image of the game on your hard drive. If the program does not see the image, then most likely it has a different format than the one selected by default. To change this, in the "Files of type" menu, select "All Files". Now find your image and click "Open".
Step 4
After that, the image will be in the virtual drive and it will be possible to act with it as with a regular disc with a game. If you have disabled autorun from a disk, then go to "My Computer" and double-click on the drive with the letter assigned to the virtual DVD. Find the autorun.exe or setup.exe file on the disk and run one of them. Then follow the instructions to install the game.
Step 5
In order to remove the image from the drive, click on the Daemon Tools icon in the tray and select "Unmount all drives".
