Domestic localizers take on a lot of responsibility translating games into Russian. In many cases, they do it very badly, which is especially detrimental to AAA-grade projects for which professional actors are hired. This attitude is increasingly forcing players to remove the crackers.
Necessary
Access to the Internet with the ability to download files over 100 mb
Instructions
Step 1
Check the built-in languages. There are a number of games released by the "Multi9" package, which implies 9 languages at once upon installation (it also includes Russian). It so happens that localizers disable the ability to change the language (why is a mystery), or this feature is not available to the user from the very beginning. In such a situation, your problem will most likely be solved by changing a few lines in the game files. Unfortunately, there is no universal way in this case, and the specific steps are determined for each product individually.
Step 2
Look for original files. In most cases, the installed crack replaces the original data in the program, and there is no way to restore them. Users, knowing this, post on the Internet the data affected by the translators, so that those who wish can do everything "as it was." It is best to check the torrent sites, but if this is not possible, use the link next to it. Be prepared for the fact that if you want to return the original voice acting, you will have to download files of 100MB or more. Replacing the text in the game (software) will require from 3 to 15 MB, no more. Larger archives are artificially enlarged.
Step 3
Check the installer. It is likely that in order to remove the crack, you will have to completely uninstall the program, and then install it again. Localizers do a similar twist if the game does not provide for the ability to change the language, and they want to leave users the right to choose.
Step 4
Check the contents of the disc. If you downloaded Re-pack (special assembly) from the Internet, then, probably, the downloaded file (image) will contain additional information from the authors of the archive. It can be either a "read me" file with hints, or files for replacing the language.
Step 5
Look for similar options. If replacing files for some reason causes you difficulties, try to find an "anglifier" - a program that is the opposite of a crack. All that is required of you in this case is to select the directory where the game is installed and click "install". The method is the fastest and easiest, but not always available.
