Instructions
Step 1
Run the program. Select "File" - "Open" or press the key combination Ctrl + O, or click on the corresponding icon on the application toolbar. In the dialog box that opens, find the file you want to trim. Select it with a mouse click and click on the "Open" button, or double-click on it.
Step 2
The file will open on the program's desktop. Visually, it will be an audio track with two channels (if the sound is stereo) or with one channel (if the sound is mono). Now you can start directly editing the file.

Use the mouse to highlight the part of the song on the audio track that you want to delete. To do this, left-click on the beginning of the segment to be deleted and, without releasing the mouse button, move the pointer to the end of the segment, and then release the button. You can also just left-click on the beginning of the segment, and with the right mouse button on its end. Then select "Edit" - "Delete" or press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Del. You can also do it in another way. Select, on the contrary, the part of the song that you want to save, while deleting all unnecessary. After that select "Edit" - "Crop".
Step 4
If you need to make any changes to the sound of the song, then use such menu items as "Tools", "Effects" and "Enhancement". With their help, you can achieve better sound quality, remove noise from the sound, add sound effects.
Step 5
Now you need to save the result of the work done. Select "File" - "Save As". Give a name to the future file and choose one of the file types. It can be considered the de facto standard.mp3 or less popular (but not necessarily worse).ogg or.mp4. Then click on the "Save" button. The file was saved successfully.
