Instructions

Step 1

To write to a disc, you need a special program. One of the best free disc burning solutions is CDBurner XP, which can be downloaded from https://cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.exe. Install the program on your computer and run it. Each time you start the program, a window opens in which you need to select the function that will be used at the moment: data recording, music recording, disc image creation, disc copying or erasing a rewritable disc. To burn photos to a disc, select the "Data Disc" option and click the OK button

Step 2

After clicking the OK button, a window for adding files will open, resembling a standard file manager. In the right part of this window, find the directory with the photos that you plan to burn to disk. You can write to a disc either a whole folder or each photo separately. After selecting the necessary files or folders, copy or drag them to the left side of the window. The space filled on the disk is indicated by an indicator strip located at the bottom of the window. After you have copied all the necessary photos into the recording field, make sure that the indicator bar has not crossed the full line of the disk, otherwise the recording may not take place.

Step 3

To start physical copying of photos to disk, click on the "Burn" button. Avoid running any programs in parallel while burning, as abruptly canceling the CD (if it is not rewritable) could be permanently damaged. After the burn is complete, the CD drive will open automatically. Now the photos from your computer are burned to a CD, and you can view them on any device that supports discs and the format of the photos recorded on it.
