Each cell in Microsoft Excel has specific coordinates. The columns of the table are designated in Latin letters, the rows - in numbers. Step 1
Column designation in Microsoft Excel is closely related to the link display mode. The link in this program is the cell address. The reason that the columns were renamed is precisely because of the use of a different style for these addresses. The main thing in this situation is not to get lost, even if you are not yet very confident in this program. You need to find an extra "birdie" that another user or even you yourself put in the wrong place. If you're still worried about ruining your document, copy it under a different name and experiment with a copy.

Open the document in Microsoft Excel. At the top of the screen, you see the main menu. The interfaces of most Microsoft programs have a lot in common. Having mastered one, you will quickly learn to understand others. Find the "Service" tab. By clicking on the label with the mouse, you will see a drop-down menu in front of you. Find the line "Options". In some versions of the program, this feature is called Excel Options.

A window with a number of tabs will appear in front of you. If you have version 2003 installed, find the General tab, and then R1C1 Link Style. In a small window you will see a "bird" that needs to be removed, and then all columns will receive their usual letter names.
