Very often, due to the congestion of the hard disk, PC users need to transfer some films from the computer to CDs in order to free up at least a little memory. Thanks to the large number of professional recording programs, this is not at all difficult to do, and if you really understand it, you can create your own collection of films in the future.

Necessary

  • - blank disk;
  • - Nero Express program.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, download and install on your computer a special program for burning audio and video files to CDs. The most popular is Nero Express, which has a user-friendly interface that makes it much easier to work with.

Step 2

Insert a blank CD into your CD drive. Run the installed program by double-clicking the left mouse button on the shortcut in the Start menu or on the desktop. A window will open in front of you, which lists all the functions performed by the program. Select the item "DVD with data" and in the window that opens, click the "Add" button. In the list, mark the movie you want to record, drag it while holding the left mouse button, or click on the "Add" button. The adding process will take a few minutes. Pay attention to the scale at the bottom of the window. It displays information about how much disk space the recorded movie will take up. If it significantly exceeds the volume allowed for recording, it is better to abandon this venture, since it will still not be possible to record a movie.

Step 3

If the movie has a size acceptable for recording, you can proceed to the next stage by clicking the Next button. In the window that opens, select the drive you want to burn. Provide a name for the CD-ROM you want to burn. Check the box next to "Check data after burning to disc", and if the CD is in DVD + R or DVD + RW format, then you can also select the second item. This will make it possible to write additional files to the remaining free disk space.

Step 4

Now click the "Record" button and wait for the program to record and check the recorded movie. All you have to do is take the disc out of your computer and test it on your DVD player.
