The usual clock in the corner of the monitor never makes mistakes if the applet parameters are updated in time. You rarely have to do this, so you can forget the procedure. In this case, apply the general rule: start with the "Start" button and look for "Date and Time".
Instructions
Step 1
When installing on a Windows operating system, the date and time values are set. Manual setting of time and date is only required in case of malfunction.
Step 2
Find the clock on the toolbar in the lower right corner of the monitor and double-click the left mouse button to open the Properties window. Date and time . On the Date and Time tab, you will see a calendar on the left and a clock on the right. In the calendar windows, select the day, month and year. Set the time in the clock window. In the lower right corner of the window, click ok.
Step 3
If the computer clock has failed due to a change in time zones, then the correct time on your computer will only be saved until the Internet is connected. When you go online, the change you made will be "corrected" to reflect the change in time zones. To prevent this from happening, go to the "Time zone" tab and find your region in the directory. You now have the updated time zone value set. Uncheck the "Automatic daylight saving time and back" checkbox, the time transfers are canceled. At the bottom of the window, click ok.
Step 4
Click on the Internet Time tab. Check the box next to "Synchronize with an Internet time server". Click the Update Now command next to the window, wait for the operation to complete and click ok.
Step 5
If your computer uses Linux, to set the time and date by double-clicking the right mouse button on the "Clock" applet, open the parameters window. Set the correct time and date. Press the inscription "Set system time" and use the proposed utility.
