During the operation of the communicator, a large number of system files accumulate on the carrier: program files, registry keys, etc. Cab files are used to create backups of the listed system files.

Instructions
Step 1
Start WinCE Cab Manager. If a window for updating the program appears in front of you, therefore, you have not downloaded the latest version, update it. Then you should click on the image of the white sheet.
Step 2
In the window that opens, enter the computer name and your name (you can enter any names, since they are only needed to identify the cab file). In the next window, select the platform for which this archive with files is created. Check the box next to Only allow the application, then click on the required platform. Click "Next".
Step 3
In the next window, you are asked to specify the processor of your device. It is recommended to leave the default and press the Enter key. At this step, the installation wizard is completely finished, it remains to add the files themselves and information about the files that will be inside the archive. Click "Next".
Step 4
To enter your values in the fields that appear in front of you, you need to double-click on their titles. In the "Installation folder" field, you must specify Program Files and create a new directory BkupRsto. It is recommended to set the False option in the "Allow deletion" field.
Step 5
Drag the BkupRsto directory onto the utility window (Files tab). The same action must be performed with the VGA subdirectory.
Step 6
Go to the Shortcuts tab. Call the context menu in the right part of the program and select Add. In the window that appears, enter the name of the shortcut. Click "Next". Then specify the directory or file for which this shortcut will be created. In our case, it is worth choosing the BkupRsto.exe file and the following directory where Windows_Start Menu_Programs is located.
Step 7
Go to the Registry tab. Download to your computer given registry file. To import this file into the program, click the File top menu, select the Import section and the Import from REG option

Now all that remains is to save the resulting cab-archive. To do this, click the button with the floppy disk. In the save archive window, select the WinCE CAB files file type and press the Enter key.
