Step 1
Before formatting, do not forget to save and back up all your data from the hard disk to another storage medium - after formatting, all information on the disk will be erased.

You can format the hard drive using the bootable Windows Setup CD.
Step 3
When starting the computer, enter BIOS and set the CD-ROM as the First Boot device. Then insert the operating system disc into the drive and reboot.
The operating system setup program starts.
Step 4
Specify the new partition to which the system should be installed using the C key and delete the previous partition with the D key. Specify how many MB the partition should contain or press the spacebar to set the size automatically.
Step 5
Then, if you want to install an operating system, use the arrows on the keyboard to select the partition that will be the system partition so that Windows will be installed into it.
Step 6
Note that you want to format the hard disk partitions. When the program asks you which file system to format the disk with, choose NTFS - it is a modern and reliable file system. Choose fast or regular format depending on whether you want to check the disk for damaged and incorrect elements, or you want to format it without checking.
Step 7
Follow the instructions on the screen and wait for the verification and formatting to complete.
