Instructions

Step 1

Click the "Start" button to enter the main system menu and select the Internet Explorer item to launch the browser.

Open the desired page in a web browser.

Drag a web page icon to the Favorites panel to add a link, or drag a link from a web page directly to the Favorites panel.

Step 4

Click the "Add to favorites" button to confirm the execution of the command.

Step 5

Make sure the selected item is a Web Slice before adding it to the Favorites panel. The Web Slice button on the command bar should change color, and the Web Slice icon should appear next to the content on the web page. A web fragment is a specific part of a web page that makes it possible to determine the availability of updated content (weather forecast, stock quotes, etc.). Adding a Web Slice also subscribes to the content.

Step 6

Click the Web Slice button on the command bar to add the selected item to Favorites, or the desired Web Slice icon on the page.

Confirm your subscription to the selected Web Slice and wait for its icon to appear on the left side of the Favorites panel.

Go to the web page with the channel you want to subscribe to.

Click the Discovery Feed button to view it, or select one from the list of available ones.

Check the "Subscribe to the feed" item on the page.

Apply a check mark to the Add to Favorites Bar box in the Subscribe Feed dialog box and click the Subscribe button.
