Give the archive a name to remember. You can also apply the automatically generated title.

Click on the drop-down list next to Archive Format. Select the Zip format. Select "Maximum" under "Compression Level".

Enter the required password in the corresponding field. Re-type it on the line below. Click on the drop-down list below. Select the format type AES-256. Click the OK button at the bottom of the dialog box.

Step 6

Wait for the program to finish compressing. The time required for this operation will vary depending on the size of the files you are compressing and the speed of your computer. Pay attention to the indicator. When it reaches 100 percent, the archive is complete.

Step 7

Try to open a new archive after completing your work. Enter the selected password and press Enter to check whether the file is protected or not, and whether all the files that should be in the folder have been successfully saved. Now only you will have access to this archive.
