The Custom Management Console (MMC) makes it easy to apply changes to frequently used Group Policy settings, create and enable / disable necessary policies and other objects. A prerequisite for the save operation of the user console is the availability of administrator access to computer resources.
Instructions
Step 1
Click the Start button to bring up the Windows main menu and go to Run to create a Custom Management Console (MMC).

Enter mmc in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command.

Open the File menu of the top toolbar of the program window and select the Add / Remove Snap-in command.

Press the "Add" button and expand the node of the snap-in to be added by double-clicking.

Follow the recommendations of the Add / Remove Snap-in Wizard and complete the process of creating a new custom management console.

Return to the File menu in the top toolbar of the application window and select the Save command.

Specify the desired name of the saved console in the corresponding field of the opened dialog box and click the Ok button to apply the selected changes. The.msc extension will be added automatically. The default location for the user management console you create is Documents and Settings username Start Menu Administrative Tools default folders.

Call the context menu of the saved control console by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Author" item to perform the operation of saving the selected console in authoring mode. An alternative method of opening the required object is to return to the "Start" menu and go to the "Run" item. Enter the value mmc path created_file_name.msc / a in the Open field and click OK to confirm the command.

Expand the Console menu and select Save.

Return to the main menu "Start" and go to the item "Control Panel" to perform the save operation of the surveillance console.

Sequentially open the "Administration" and "Performance" nodes by double-clicking and select the "Save As" command in the "File" menu of the upper toolbar of the application window.
