Many fans of the Counter-Strike game at least once in their lives have a desire to record a demo of their own or someone else's game. This is usually an integral part of the video clip creation process.

Instructions
Step 1
First, install the Counter-Strike game itself. Its presence is required to record the moments of the game. Find the desired file with the dem extension and copy it to the cstrike folder located in the root directory where you installed the game.
Step 2
Launch Counter-Strike, join the desired server and start the gameplay. To start recording a demo, type the record nazvanie command in the console. Please note that the file name should not contain Russian letters. To stop recording, enter the stop command. If you record several demos, then each time specify a new name, because otherwise the old dem-files will be overwritten.
Step 3
To view the game recording, open the console and type the command viewdemo nazvanie in it. Press Esc to display the scroll bar. Choose the right moment, open the console and type the command startmovie moviname 25, where the number 25 means the number of files created per second with the bmp extension. To stop creating files, enter the stop command.
Step 4
Repeat the procedure for creating a group of bmp files several times, constantly changing their names (moviename). Now install the bmp to avi program. It is designed to create an avi file from a group of bmp files. Run the application.
Step 5
Open the File menu and select Add. Open the folder where you saved the bmp files. Initially, this is the cstrike directory of the game's root folder. Highlight the required bmp files and click the Add button.
Step 6
Now click the Start button to start creating the avi file. Specify the required number of frames per second. It is recommended to make it equal to the value that you specified when entering the startmovie command.
Step 7
Create multiple avi files. You can use a wide variety of programs to combine them into a single file. If you need to add visual effects to a clip, install Adobe Premier.
