After reinstalling the system, there is a problem with gaining access to certain folders and files created in the system directories of the previous version of the operating system, such as "My Documents" or "Desktop".
Instructions
Step 1
Log in with an administrator password. Change the owner to remove the password from the folder you want to open. Use the Explorer program to navigate to the desired directory. Right-click on the folder, select Properties, go to the Security tab. Then click on the "Advanced" button, go to the "Owner" tab. Go to the Change Owner To field.
Step 2
To assign the owner to a user who is not on the list, double-click the Other Users row, enter the desired username and click OK. Go to the "Tools" menu, select the "Folder Options" command, then go to the "View" tab, uncheck the "Use simple file access" checkbox, restart your computer. Next, go to the desired directory to check if you managed to remove the password for accessing the folder.
Step 3
Access the folder using a USB flash drive. Paste it into your computer, copy all the information from it to any folder. Then click on the "Start" button, go to the "Settings" option, select the "Control Panel" command, select "Administrative Tools", then go to the "Computer Management" - "Disk Management" menu.
Step 4
Find removable media (USB flash drive) from the list of equipment. Right-click on the disk icon, select the "Format" option. In the window that opens, select the FAT 32 system, click on the "Start" button. Wait for the formatting to complete. Next, copy the folder from which you need to remove the password to the USB flash drive. Open it from a USB stick. This way you can remove the folder password.
Step 5
Reset the password for the folder in your Samsung mobile phone using a special code. To do this, turn off the phone, remove the SIM card from it. Then turn on the phone again, enter the code * 276 * 8451 # from the keyboard. All phone settings will be reset and files saved. This will allow you to access the password protected folder.
